Nanoxeal surface protection in Halifax

Halifax takes the Atlantic head on. Salt air year-round, and post-tropical storms in the fall that drive rain sideways into walls. It is not the amount of rain that matters here, it is how hard it arrives.

What the Atlantic climate does to surfaces

  • Wind-driven rain during fall storms
  • Continuous salt air on siding and fasteners
  • Mild but very damp winters, with freeze-thaw around zero
  • Moss and algae on surfaces that stay shaded

Nanoxeal in Halifax

  • Limits wind-driven rain penetrating siding and masonry
  • Reduces the salt water porous surfaces absorb
  • Stays breathable, which matters in a damp climate
  • We ship across Nova Scotia

Also serving nearby: Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville, Cole Harbour, Timberlea.

Frequently asked questions

Does it hold up in a post-tropical storm?
The coating does nothing for the mechanical strength of siding or roofing: a storm that tears materials off will tear them off regardless. What it does is reduce the water a sound surface absorbs during long spells of driving rain.
Do you install in Halifax?
Not directly. Our crews are in Quebec and British Columbia. In Nova Scotia we ship the product and support local applicators.

The coverage (1,000 to 1,200 sq ft per 19 L pail, two coats) and the protection duration (up to 15 years) are the manufacturer specification, not independent lab results. Always test a small area before treating the whole surface.
