Nanoxeal surface protection in Edmonton

Edmonton sits further north than Calgary and gets far fewer chinooks. Winter arrives and stays: sustained cold, snow on the ground for months, then a long spring thaw. The stress on surfaces comes from duration as much as from cold.

What the central Alberta climate does to surfaces

  • Long sustained winters with snow on the ground for months
  • A drawn-out spring thaw that keeps concrete saturated
  • Road salt and abrasives on driveways and garage pads
  • Very long summer days at this latitude, so a lot of cumulative UV

Nanoxeal in Edmonton

  • Water repellency that limits how saturated concrete gets at thaw
  • A breathable membrane: vapour escapes, which matters when a surface spends months under snow
  • High UV resistance for wood exposed all summer
  • We ship across Alberta and support local applicators

Frequently asked questions

Do you install in Edmonton?
Not directly. We install in Quebec and British Columbia. Here we ship the product and back local applicators. Send us your area and we will tell you what is actually available.
My garage pad scales every spring. Does this help?
That is the classic use case. Scaling comes from absorbed salt water freezing inside the concrete. Reducing that absorption limits the mechanism. Performance depends on the state of the concrete to begin with: on a slab that is already badly scaled, a treatment does not put back what has gone.

The coverage (1,000 to 1,200 sq ft per 19 L pail, two coats) and the protection duration (up to 15 years) are the manufacturer specification, not independent lab results. Always test a small area before treating the whole surface.
